The Compassionate Gift Exemption allows unlimited compassionate contributions, including organ and frequent flyer donations to a legislator or legislative staffer.  Seated next to Governor Palin is Legislative Aide Sue Stancliff.  Sue was a compatible and willing organ donor for late Representative Richard Foster, had he been well enough to receive the transplant.

Last week, Larry Persily attended the October 28th  meeting of the commercial working group for the in-state gas pipeline — the effort funded by the Legislature this past session and led by Harry Noah, of the governor’s office — and prepared the following report.  A copy of his report follows.  Also attached to this posting is thepower point presentation provided by the working group.

 The Alaska Clearinghouse has closed its doors.  The Clearinghouse was established by the Legislature to deal with requests for ARRA (federal stimulus funding) requests.  The final report from Clearinghouse personnel and ARRA recipients are included with this posting.
